SECURITY CONSULTANT - London Ј50k plus benefits
Security Consultant. Our client in London requires an information security specialist with a good banking * financial services background. The main responsibilities are: Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Security, to ensure our client provides a central focus for industry-level management of payment-system related security issues. The successful candidate will be required to: Provide security consultancy to the UK clearing companies. Manage the activities of industry committees and working groups. Manage the industry`s input to, and representation on, international and domestic standards bodies and have the following personal attributes: Ability to work at both business and detailed technical levels in a sensitive and highly confidential environment. Excellent communications skills. Education to graduate or equivalent professional level and at least three of the following: A thorough understanding of cryptographic techniques and mechanisms, Practical experience of security risk analysis in a banking industry context. Experience in the development and*or implementation of banking security systems. A thorough knowledge of current payment systems and how they are secured.
